NEW TO OUR SPRING LEAGUE!!

To better serve our teams, SFPAL has decided to make our league into a “paper team” league.  A paper team will allow you to register for the league as a spring team. Meaning you will be able to form a team with players that were not previously on your roster and registered with another team (with CYSA age requirement & roster maximum and minimum size). This will also exclude the “3 transfer rule”. Due to the new paper team league, spring registration and dates will be a little different.

2009-2010 U11-U14 STANDINGS

Registration information: Each spring, kids in SFPAL T-shirts can be seen playing soccer on fields throughout the city. With the help of 230 volunteer coaches, we are currently engaging over 2,000 kids in our soccer program. SFPAL is a part of the California Youth Soccer Association (CYSA North) – District 1. There are four leagues in District 1 that are part of CYSA and available to youth in the San Francisco area:

• SFPAL – Hosts playing league in the spring.
• Vikings Youth Soccer – Hosts playing league in fall.
• Mission Youth Soccer – Hosts playing league in summer.

Any participant/team may register with one of these leagues at the beginning or during the season. Once a team registers with one of these leagues, they are locked in with that league for the season (June – May) and must play as a “guest team” for other league play.

Is it raining? Rec & Park post information about field closures at 9 a.m. on the Saturdays when it is raining. Should a field be closed, it will be posted on the Rec & Park website. Please note: Turf fields (Garfield, Crocker and South Sunset) will always be open, rain or shine — taking into consideration the safety of our participants.

Refund Policy: For any individual needing to drop participation, SFPAL will give a $15 refund until Friday, March 12th. For more information, please contact our office at 415-401-4666.
