Annual Golf Tournament Presented by the SFPOA

On September 19th, SFPAL hosted their Annual Golf Tournament at Crystal Springs Golf Course, presented by the San Francisco Police Officers Association. The success of past tournaments led to this year’s tournament being sold out. A full field took to links and enjoyed a day of sunshine, solid shots, and a few made putts. A big SFPAL shout out to all of our amazing sponsors, who helped us make this day happen Cruise, Deutsche Bank, Northern Carpenters Union, CBF Electric, Nomura, and many more. We also would like to thank our board members Deputy Chief Mannix, Captain Falvey, Mitch Juricich, Rick Bruce, Bob Knighton, Manny Flores, Jamie Patton, Adam Juratovac and Dennis Brown, who came out and supported the event.
After a fun day of golf, the field took to the Banquet Room where they enjoyed a delicious meal, gazed at the views, and laughed at the many jokes that our board member and emcee Mitch Juricich threw their way. This year’s tournament winners are for the winning foursome: Sgt. Barbosa, Sgt. Toomey, Ofc. McCray, and Ofc. Pena. Closest to the pin 13th hole was taken by Michael White. The women’s long drive winner at the 18th hole is Hannah Tsai and for the men’s is Kellen Moss. 3rd Annual Kids’ Games event at Kezar Stadium

Our 3rd Annual Kids’ Games event at Kezar Stadium held in partnership with San Francisco’s Recreation and Park Department and the San Francisco Police Department on May 6th 2018 was another successful event. Hundreds of kids competed in the 50 and 100 meter dashes and had a blast on this windy but sunny Sunday. SFPAL 49ers Football & Cheer / Dance Banquet 2017 Season

The SFPAL 49ers Football and Cheer 2017 season was another great success. On January 21, 2018, SFPAL held the Annual Awards Banquet at the Scottish Rite Center to celebrate the kids and volunteer coaches. SFPAL also honored volunteer coach, Lamar Williams, for dedicating over 17 years of service to the organization and the kids. Pictures of the event can be found here.

2nd Annual Winter Wonderland presented by Boston Properties in partnership with SFPAL and SFPD

On 12/22/2017 Boston Properties 2nd Annual Winter Wonderland in partnership with SFPAL and SFPD took place at the Herman Plaza ice skating ring. The event brought out over 200 kids from around the City of San Francisco, who enjoyed a visit with Santa, Christmas arts and crafts, a free lunch, and hours of skating in the sunny but crisp air. Lots of smiling faces could be seen on the kids and officers faces, who braved the ice that morning. Pictures of the event can be found here.
