SF PAL 2016 Golf Tournament @ Sharp Park

Sharp Park Golf Course

On Thursday, June 2, 2016 SF PAL hosted its annual Golf Tournament and Fundraiser at Sharp Park Golf Course located in Pacifica, California. The golf course, designed by Allister Mackenzie, boasts spectacular views of the California coastline and is considered one of the most scenic locations which hosts a challenging golf course.  It was a great day for competition, but more so it was a great day to support SF PAL and its many programs. A group of over eighty golfers took on the course and posted some great scores. The tournament was won by a contingent from Tenderloin Station; Daniel Faulkner, Patrick Machi, Kevin Nestor, and Michael White, who posted a score of 60. Their names will appear on the perpetual PAL Golf Trophy and the trophy will be displayed at the Police Officers’ Association building in San Francisco. The day was a huge success in raising funds for PAL’s youth programs. Thank you to all of our players, donors, and sponsors for supporting PAL. We would also like to give a special thank you Eric Farber of Pacific Worker’s Compensation – Farber & Company Attorneys for sponsoring the Harley Davidson and four Nike gift cards (valued at $250/each) for the tournament. Unfortunately no one made a hole-in-one to win the Harley Davidson, but there is always next year. We would also like to thank executive chef Kevin Ramsey of Sharp Park for being a very gracious host. Hope to see all of you next year. To view photos from the event, please click here!
