Our flag football program, in partnership with the San Francisco Recreation and Park Department and the 49ers PREP program, is one of our most popular programs. The program focuses on teaching participants the elements of football. Flag Football is a non-contact sport scheduled to kick off on Sunday, April 6, 2025. Sessions will be 1 hour long and held at Potrero Hill Park, located at 801 Arkansas St, San Francisco.
The program will take place at Potrero Hill Park on the following Sundays: April 6, April 13, April 20, April 27, May 11 (Mother’s Day), May 18, and May 25.
Practice times are assigned based on age groups. Please note that this is a co-ed sports program.
Registration is free and will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. Registration opens on January 1, 2025

We are excited to announce that our flag football program is returning to the Tenderloin District in March 2025. The program will run on the following Thursdays: March 13, March 20, March 27, April 3, April 10, April 17, and April 24. Participants will meet at the Civic Center Lawn to learn the fundamentals of the sport and participate in friendly pick-up games. Games and instructions at 3:30pm for ages 8-10 and 4:30pm for ages 11-13. If you are interested in this program, please complete the registration here.
