This year’s basketball season was an example of great teamwork, involving some 87 volunteer coaches, dozens of referees, the city’s Rec & Park Department, PAL — and the kids, more than 600 of them.
This week we’ve gotten to say “hello” to all our coaches and team managers and they’ve come to pick up their field permits and schedules. First game of the season is Saturday. Kick off!

PAL is recruiting for this summer’s PAL Summer Cadet Academy, an intensive four-week program that runs from June 13 to July 8, 2011.
PAL has joined forces with Ragnar Relay Series to host a 187-mile relay race from San Francisco to Napa Valley on September 16-17, 2011. PAL was chosen as the official charity for the two-day event.
