Year-End Message

Party1The year 2015 ended on a very positive note for SFPAL and 2016 is already shaping up to be another banner year.

The PAL Cadets donated thousands of volunteer hours and are a credit to San Francisco. Our 2016 Summer Cadet Program is hoping to welcome 50-plus community youth, and after the training in June, they will be going to the Stations and Units to work. We see a bright future for our communities and our country with future leaders willing to give back at such an early age.

With Costco and The Home Depot’s incredible help we were able to share toys with several organizations including a New Year drop off at Special Victims Unit for the advocates to share with the children that visit.

The pediatric unit at St. Luke’s was also a beneficiary of the Toy Drive and a special thanks to the POA for their support in putting smiles on children’s faces this holiday season.

Our Holiday Party was held at the Scottish Rite Masonic Center, again thanks to Home Depot for their help with decorations, and the ongoing generosity from the SFPD is greatly appreciated. The event was catered by Toast Catering and Jim always goes way above and beyond. There was so much food, that we were able to give what was left to the families to take home.

Everyone at SFPAL would also like to take a moment to welcome Conor Costello to the family! Conor is Mike and Vikki’s second son and little Michael’s baby brother. What a great way to cap off a great year!

The PAL Board members and staff wishes each of you a healthy, happy and bright new year!
