FREE PHYSICALS: TBA

Thanks to the generosity of a community physician, free physicals will be provided on a first come first served basis. It has been our experience that unforeseen circumstances happen and there is no guarantee that all children who want free physicals will be seen. If you have other means to obtain a physical, please do so. Unfortunately SFPAL can not reimburse you for the cost of your physical. Also, please be aware that the physical must be completed on the Pop Warner Medical Clearance Form. To obtain this form you may down load it from the link below or call our office.

                  Pop Warner Physical Form

Child with PRE-EXISTING Medical Condition(s)

Any child with a PRE-EXISTING medical condition(s) must obtain a physical from their primary physician (The child can not partake in the free physical on July 13th.) Again the physical must be completed on the Pop Warner Medical Clearance Form. In addition, a secondary medical clearance for SFPAL will be required. Please call the SFPAL office to obtain this medical clearance form for pre-existing conditions.

The San Francisco PAL Football and Cheerleading Program will kick-off August and conclude in mid December. The San Francisco PAL Seahawks, comprised of five football teams and five cheerleading squads, are affiliated with the Pop Warner Redwood Empire Jr. Football Conference. There are three organizations that service the San Francisco area, defined by zip codes.

SFPAL's team is the Seahawks (see links for info and registration at left)
Zip codes as follows:
94102, 94108, 94109, 94111, 94115, 94116, 94117, 94118, 94121, 94122, 94123, 94129, 94130, 94133, 94143.

Jr. 49ers (www.sfjr49ers.org)
Zip codes: 94112, 94114, 94127, 94131, 94132, 94134.

Brown Bombers (www.sfbrownbombers.org)
Zip codes: 94103, 94105, 94107, 94110, 94124, 94135.

Any child who resides in San Francisco and wishes to participate in Pop Warner Football & Cheerleading must sign-up with the team that services the zip code in which they reside in. (SEE ABOVE)  This means that if a child lives in a zip code covered by a particular unit, he or she must participate with that unit only. In the event that a team is at full capacity (35 players/cheerleaders), then the Unit's president or designee can sign a league approved waiver accepted by the conference. That waiver is good for one year only, after which time that child must return to the original unit.

If your child has been signed up to participate, make sure you have all the required documents. Roster assignments will be done on a "first come first serve basis" which is determined by the complete submission of all required documents, paid fees and ATTENDANCE AT THE MANDATORY ORIENTATION MEETING (where the parent must sign the consent/legal waiver and PAL form). The mandatory meeting is required by the Pop Warner Jr. Football Conference for all parents and  guardians of participants. Failure to attend the MANDATORY ORIENTATION may impact the child's assignment to a team roster.

ORIENTATION MEETINGS ARE HELD IN JULY CHECK BACK HERE FOR MORE INFORMATION.
