SFPAL's Annual Golf Tournament Fundraiser - May 19, 20083 As a way to keep costs down for our participants, every year we hold a golf tournament for all those interested in playing for a good cause. This year our tournament will be held at the historic Presidio Golf Course! If playing on a great course with games, prizes, compadres quasadillas & margaritas served on the course, and a dinner and auction afterwards doesn't sound like a good time, I don't know what does! After two years of planning and development our Boxing Program is up and SFPAL is affiliated with USA Boxing - the national governing body recognized by the United States Olympic Committee. USA Boxing is responsible for the administration, development and promotion of Olympic-style boxing in the United States. Each SFPAL coach is USA Boxing certified and each player who signs up with SFPAL is also registered with USA Boxing. Our good friend Yuri Morales of the San Jose Earthquakes has invited SFPAL participants to have a session with him and his professional soccer players during the Carnaval SoccerFest. This is a chance for our participants to learn new skills from professional soccer players. Space is limited so please email me a.s.a.p. to sign up! This event is a free event and will be held at John O'Connell High School Soccer Field over Memorial Day weekend. Once we get enough players signed up, I will be able to corrdinate with Yuri and figure out a time for all of us to join him and his friends.
It is that time of the year again to get geared up for Football & Cheer! Come to one of these sessions to find out how to sign-up for football or cheerleading. All sign-ups will be held at the Westbay Conference Center located at 1290 Fillmore St. (@ Eddy St.) San Francisco, CA 94115 The San Francisco PAL Seahawks, comprised of five football teams and five cheerleading squads, are affiliated with the Pop Warner Redwood Empire Jr. Football Conference. There are three organizations that service the San Francisco area, defined by zip codes. Zip codes are representative of service areas, however any child may chose to participate on any team. Please notify the team for more specific information.
